You wonât want to hear this but a friend of mine was diagnosed in early November with the same.
Passed away last Friday. He was 53.
He was in last week for a course of treatment so maybe that knocked the last bit of fight out of him.
Iâm very sorry to hear this about your friend. RIP.
This woman is about 5ft and as thin as a pencil so Iâd be wary of her strength in going into the treatment. At this stage it is more about containment as it is starting to spread elsewhere. We will see what happens .
In fairness, she had a big battle with the drink a number of years back and managed to knock that. The fags were her one remaining vice until a few months ago. Sheâs the motherâs only sibling (technically a half-sister) and the mother said to me on the phone that she was glad none of us (me or my sister) were on the smokes.
When you are sick, the first thing they ask you if you smoke, thats so telling
Youâd believe so but so many people die from cancer who never drink or smoke.
Sorry to hear of your aunts news and @Thornhill friends passing.
An acquaintance of ours is being buried tomorrow. Same age as mesel. You couldnât write her story if you tried. We were Monday club pals a long time ago. But the club became a daily thing for her and her fella. Poor woman was ravaged in the end after a liquid and nicotine diet. She had her demons and torment. Hopefully she is at peace now.
RIP pal
RIP
Wolves are fucking great
Mutant wolves roaming Chernobyl Exclusion Zone have developed cancer-resilient abilities: study
My aunty got diagnosed with breast cancer last week (Tuesday), gone onto the next life last Thursday night. Apparently 0 pain, but did feel growth. 74 years of age.
If ever ya hear your parents or someone who doesnât go near the doctor, tell them to get it looked at if ever something like that comes upon them. Tis a massive shock to my mother and her side of the family, basically the only thing we can take from it is she didnât know it was coming/ didnât have to drive up and down to Whitfield cancer hospital in Waterford and see her go before our eyes.
Sorry for your loss
Sorry to hear this pal. RIP.
Deepest sympathy may she rest in peace.
Very sorry for your loss lad. Yes, quick and short and relatively painless is the only consolation to be found in thinking about your auntâs illness and passing. I hope your mum finds comfort in that. May she rest in peace.
She and me other aunties and uncles I feel are going to be angry at the fact she didnât go to the doctor, but I keep emphasing to her that she didnât go through pain or that thankfully.
Thats so rough. May she RIP
May she rest in peace.
Sorry to hear that.
Condolences lad.May she RIP
Rip to your Auntie.
Sorry for your loss Pirlo.
