wishing your wife the best possible outcome
Our 3 kids have all 4 grandparents still alive which amazes me. My dad turned 90 last year and the other 3 are all in their 80’s. The grandmothers memories are shot to pieces but still enough functions to make happy memories with the grandkids. All 4 of them have lost a number of siblings so we know we’re incredibly lucky as its unlikely all 4 will still be with us in a few years - although we probably would have said the same thing 10 years ago!
Great stuff. Long may it continue.
Herself had her surgery late Tuesday evening, all went well and will discuss further once pathology is back, she’s much improved today, out of the bed and doing little walks, all going well be home on Sauturday, thanks again to everyone for their best wishes.
Continued best wishes to you all, pal.
Great news
Early surgery so soon after diagnosis can only be a good thing. Keep her lit, kid.
Good to hear @Bod95
Great news … who’s cooking for you?
Best of luck to your auld lad.
I’m quite nifty in the kitchen, I’d be the main
in the house.
Hope that does the trick mate.
They were worried about a cyst with my Mam years ago and they decided to take the whole shebang.
She didn’t need it at that stage thankfully.
Good luck Bod. Wait till you tell her theres a load of weirdos on the internet rooting for her…
TFK has won this battle before and will win this one
praise baby Jesus - EUS of my pancreas was the outcome I was praying for.
Gratitude is some fuel.
How ye all faring pal?
Always
We were at the Beacon at 8:30 this morning, got a call yesterday to meet the surgeon, confirmed as cancerous Stage 1 but localised, no spread to lymph nodes or anywhere else, he said it’s a very positive outcome as normally presents as being much more advanced, he said as its removed now all good, but she will need to have preventative chemo for a short while, meeting with an oncologist on Wednesday. So overall good bad news is how we’re looking at it as.
That sounds positive. ![]()
