Have you kids pal? There’s times when i want to smack the wife’s head off the wall. Youve a long day done, dinner needs making, the kids are screaming, a shop needs doing, the dog needs walking and the house is in shit… You get all but the House done but the comments still come… It aint easy.

Division of labour mostly in our house between cooking, cleaning, washing, hoovering etc my red line is ironing in turn looking after the garden is fully my domain

Pre covid we used to get a cleaner in for a few hours every fortnight. Last thing you want to be doing at the weekend is cleaning. During covid, to pass the time, I started cleaning under the bed and found it very therapeutic, so much so that I now do most of the cleaning and an added advantage is that my employer pay me to do so.

I’ve a few things to get in the next year or so, electric gates a robot mower and I gutted my sitting room the first week of last January and have only slabbed and skimmed it since.I need to get that done before winter.The gates/robot can wait till next spring.

You can get a payment plan for the mowers over 2 years which can take the sting out of it. Thinking of getting an Ambrogio myself.
