The Cheltenham NH Festival 2013
Doyle was a great lad to ride a front runner, would seldom be caught. He rode my brother’s horse to win in fairyhouse a few years back. An honest sound skin which is rare for a jockey.

Princeton plains does look like a plot horse. Don’t know if I can bring myself to part with money on anything trained by Harty though. If only JP would stop funding clowns and send his horses to proper trainers.
If JP did that half the yards in the country would shut down.

Does yet man Paul Nolan still train horses? You’d never hear much about him these days. Seems like a bit of a head case

Toner or Edeymi in the martin pipe…i cant split them

The Turf Club medical officer has said JT has a “serious neck injury”

NO reason to oppose FIsher cross. beat Neptune winner the new one and twice a course winner.
But Jonjos Cloudy Copper really caught my eye in his last run, gave hold on julio weight (3m) and won pulling up. Definitely more to come. 10-1 and i cannot see him being out of the first 3

Chapturgeon owes me…sticking with him, if he times his run a little better i think he’ll collar Salsify

Had a nibble on Tatenen @ 50/1.
Also think Ranjann @ 12/1 could be a nice e/w bet as is Hisaabat @20/1 in same race.

Rolling Star , Bobs Worth and Salsify will also see some of my money I think.

What’s a fortune dodgy? I wouldn’t be a gambler at all but I’m down about €50 this week which Mac and Lazarus will win me back tomorrow but wondering how much lads would be willing to lose. I only do a few bets for Cheltenham with a budget of €100 or that so wouldn’t be worried if I lost that.

Salsify will be hard bet tomorrow

How the fuck has Derek O’Connor ended up with no ride in the foxhunters?

lads princeton plains gone from 18s to 12s in last 10mins

he will, but at 5/2 in a 24 horse amateur???

Kid, Mac… Any love for our Vinnie??

I just backed him at 16/1’s with Ladbrokes purely based on the talk here.
I think tomorrow will be a good day.

CHarles byrnes told my brother in law (he has a horse with him) to back him at xmass.
So he defintiely laid out for it…Pont Alex let the form down but i wouldnt put you off him, trainer has excellent record in race

Can some expert have a look at manyriverstocross in the county hurdle and tell me why I shouldn’t put money on him?

Carberry rides Our Vinnie now. I am looking into him.

I’ve backed Princeton Plains at 14s with first 5 places paid. Skybet go 6 places. Laddies only 4

A couple of hundred down Horsebox, I probably exaggerated when I said a fortune. It feels like a fortune tonight though when it would have paid for flights for a sun holiday somewhere. Talked myself out of backing Solwhit which has pissed me off more than anything. 17/2 ffs.

Tweet from John Mulholland
‘‘Let us eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die’’

Looked at him too…the dreaded bounce factor…worth a 5ew tho

That’s enough to be losing alright-go big on a long odds tomorrow and win it back.
