Nah we donāt have to pay.
My lads are older now but the first six months too realize how much your own parents love you.
Can I get a TFK ruling on whether itās ok to go to the park for a scoot? Dublin 6 playgrounds are empty. Are people judging us for being out scooting? Surely thereās little or no risk - weāre not interacting with any others.
Apparently public parks are off limits too
This is a bit twee I suppose but Iām having a lovely moment here,
My youngest two (8 and 6) are best pals, youāve never seen the likes, they sleep in the same bed spooning or cuddled up in some way every night, spend all day with each other when they can, this few weeks will test them but they are just away around the house together the whole time, scheming and having craic, youād hardly even see them, they donāt need nobody else, Iām lying on my bed here just out of the shower after a run listening to them next door howling with laughter and divilmentt, great times.
Thatās absolutely fine @briantinnion, youād go mad indoors, people are recommended to get out in the fresh air
Just out scooting this morning.
The great Sam McConkey recommended trips to the park and hurling in small numbers at the end of The Late Late last night.
No wonder your Strava times are so impressiveā¦!
Just back in from scooting.
I had 6 pints of porter last night. First time Iāve drunk Guinness in a long while.

Lads, whatās scooting?

If it was raining weād go swimming although Iād normally bring them swimming on Sunday afternoon. Weād finish up and I would get them sausage and chips for their dinner and Iād have two pintsā¦two gorgeous pints.

Day 1.
Mrs Goode went out to get a few thing for her Ma and left on porch, I stayed home.
No horse riding, no swimming, no activities, shitty rainy poxy day.
Day fucking one!
Were the activities shut down and notified to you or did you choose to stay away?
Horse riding shut down, swimming lessons shut down.
Christ, DCC along with other Councils have shut all the playgrounds! This isnāt a holiday or time for play dates.
thanks man - hope all is well
Trim Castle for 2 euro in you can run the bollox off them for 2 hours on a dry day - also Bective abbey and then if you go to newgrange the Knowth option on a fine day is a lot better than the main attractionā¦

and the airport wide open , its renders all the control mechanisms in place i obsolete - here we are trying to contain movement of variables in a system to reduce contact between risk groups and the airport just keeps adding more unknowns that we cant control - its staggeringly stupid
what is that cunt varadkaar at
Here is a different take on fatherās issues for the coming weeks.
Our house will have me working mostly from home, the eldest fully pretending to work from home and the youngāuns watching the odd college lecture.
It will be a lot adults in the one place due an extended time. An interesting social experiment.
The WiFi better not go down.
I should add that we have three parents between us aged late 70s / early 80s, two of whom had serious health issues last year so that is our priority.
