No idea. They’re football camps. Same as any other. But theykl book out today if you want them.

Surely, if the summer camps are so popular, they should put on more of them? Seems like a fairly easy win for the FAI and all concerned
Not really sure what you want from me here Julio… You need to talk to the FAI. I just make sure there’s a vending machine in the corner of every pitch…
Just saying in this day and age of fat kids and too much TV and no one playing sport blah blah blah. The concept of limiting access to a summer camp, given the amount of coaches who’d be glad of the few bob, and the unlimited supply of venues etc. Just seems a bit dumb.
A club out my way is holding these camps for 4 consecutive weeks. Don’t think they can do much more than that.
They could try 5 consecutive weeks

Tree houses, roaming fields, swimming in a stream up to your ankles, rounders with the whole street involved, kerbs, games of soccer with jumpers for goalposts that were 2 hours long and on and on… Our parents couldn’t keep us in…
These kids today… I blame the parents so I do.

Playing knock a dolly on Barrack Street. Pat Dermodys father was a cunt who could always be relied on to give you a chase but never catch you. No summer camp is going to teach you those skills.

We had one of those… An unannounced/ renegade knock caught me out one night and I was hauled into said rat man’s house by the scruff of the neck for interrogation. I didn’t break.
