Anyone making a regular investment for their kids college/life fund? Thereās probably some specific products out there ?
Junior managed to ride his bike without stabilizers for the first time yesterday. Pro is that heās now absolutely bolloxed going to bed every night. Con is that any interest in football or hurling has suddenly gone right out the window.

Weāre planning on just putting the child benefit aside into 1 seperate account as if we never got it and by the time the little one is 18 there will be ā¬30K sitting there all going well. Should see through college anyway and a stand towards a wedding down the line.

Little one has started a little tradition while Iām WFH. After her breakfast, she will go into sitting room and climb up on the armchair. Iāll sit down with her and we will watch a small bit of telly while herself showers etc. upstairs. She wouldnāt get much more telly during the day and doesnāt have a lot of interest in it bar the songs , and I must say itās the most relaxing part of the day for me, and Iāll miss it when Iām back at work. We just watched āOctonautsā there.

Doing that ourselves; just had to dip into a couple of hundred off it to cover a few bills while herself was on unpaid maternity leave

My little one climbs up on my knee and taps away on the keyboard of the laptop for around 5 mins. Iām off this week but working away on a college assignment as she potters around the place. Itās lovely to share these moments I must say.

Yeah may have to do that ourselves. The missus is taking 4 months unpaid leave so we will be parsimonious (new word I learned yesterday) for the next while.

I havenāt seen that on at all mate.
Iāve a spare keyboard that I let her tap away on, but she keeps climbing up and taking my wireless mouse. Gets fair cranky when I take it back off her though.
