OMFG. Itās like someone sat down, interviewed me and then wrote that.
How has that not got a nice post award yet.

He didnāt tag me the cunt.
We had a visit from the fire brigade last nightā¦ Evacuation city at 1am. All goodā¦ I carried wife, baby, dog and cat out of house over my bare chested shoulders while music hummed in the background.
What happened?
Fire?
Big load.
Your shoulders must be gone the size of your arse
Long story shortā¦ Your man next door apparently has a HUGE crack in the back of his fireplaceā¦ And smoke somehow seeped through to our cubby under the stairsā¦ Could get a coal Smokie smell all evening in the hall but couldnāt figure out where fromā¦ going to be around 12.30 after a few INTERNET battles and the hallway was full of smoke and alarms went offā¦ Smoke cleared quick enough with doors open ā¦ Must have been building in the cubby for a while. Your man called in all apologetic but shur he had no idea. Been no one in our house for three years previouslyā¦
That was only on one shoulderā¦ I was smoking a fag and drinking a can with the other arm.
Yeah well make sure his insurance pays for any smoke damage in your gaff.
Well you and yours are all safe and thatās all that matters, ol pal.
Yikes. Was this the lad you were worried about a year ago or so?
Noā¦ Jimmy moved a couple of days ago. His time was up so there should be another homeless chap moving in soon. Jimmy was an alright sort but a typical norrie, you couldnāt believe half of what he said.
Good to hear all ok in the end anyway. A stressful night for ye all
Do you have a carbon monoxide alarm up?
Are they really old houses?
Yes
No.
Iām refusing to like it because my imaginary family werenāt included
Give him the Tenth there, you never know he might give you your TERās again.
Little one has spiked a temperature today. No obvious symptoms of anything untoward. It is obviously connected with teething as she has excessive drooling. Worst thing we ever did was buy a thermometer. She has been brought for Covid test, south doc appointments etc before in similar situations to this when it was obviously no more than teething. My wife is a nurse and getting ready for a shift so obviously there are strict protocols in place. Childminding is not a possibility and her father is immunocompromised so we cant call on a favour from mother in law for a few hours. Child is crying, mother of child is crying, mother of mother of child is wondering why I cant ring in sick to work or take a day off, boss is looking for something that was due this morning. I cant say anything right. Christ what a day.
