The Daddy Thread

Glad I could simplify that for you.

For the last few weeks my last wife has been trying to have a serious talk/temper tantrum about the youngest ladā€™s transfer to secondary school.
She would like him to transfer to her nearest school so that, on the rare occasion that she opens her door to him, she wonā€™t have to leave him to school in the morning. The kids stay with me most of the time, she cant handle uniforms, homework etc and their friends/extended family/childminder are close by. Nevertheless sheā€™ll have to have her way.
Iā€™ll put up a spirited defence, skirt around the emotive issue of her general uninvolment, inadvertently mention the possibility of future generosity etcā€¦then Iā€™ll let he have her way, pathetic I know.
Not that it mattersā€¦the deadline was last week and Iā€™ve the paperwork away.

How did you marry a cunt like that?

Everything is as it should be. I just hope she helped me pay off some of the bad karma Iā€™m bound to have accumulated when I was riding the country.

Eeep, reading a post like that makes me once again realise how lucky I am to have such a sane, rational, loving, nurturing wife. You have my sympathy @glenshane.

Riding half the country is just the spanner in the works and if she was a bad egg rightly so.
If the child resided with me most the time and is of the age I would go to court and get it in black and white.
Also if he is in yours most times the judges will side with you and get you full custody and she will have the maintenance end of things.
The judge would ask your child where he is happiest and if your confident he will say yous then case closed.
Your doing the rearing so why not

No offence, but I dont have any use for sympathy from anyone

That ainā€™t how it works. If you go the legal road sheā€™ll couse botherā€¦the judge will postpone to await a report from wherever, sheā€™ll get her ducks in a row for a few months and then the judge will side with the mother. Why rock the boat?

Fair enough. She seems like a lighting cunt. Best of luck with it.

Not really Iā€™m in and out of dolphin house all 5he time over my little one took me a while but got custody of my 8 year old girl. Ita whatā€™s in the best interest of the child.
My daughter was been neglected through schooling and been sent to breakfast clubs because her mother was lazy with her and was all out for the money ect. All you have to do is get advice from a decent solicitor if your doi g the hard work you will be rewarded.
Her schooling has improved homework handwriting reading and confidence.

Different situation up here. Judges side with the mother unless social workers are involved, even then there would have to be clear danger to the child to side with the fatherā€¦alcoholism probably wouldnā€™t be enoughā€¦

I wouldnā€™t touch her with yoursā€¦metaphorically speaking

If that is the situation you would have a very strong case as its substance abuse.
Have your ducks lined up and have written school reports.
A substance abuser would not potentially only putting their own lives at risk but also a child.
If itā€™s a clear case where as you would know by looking at her ( no offense) she suffered with alcoholism you are home and hosed it would be up to her to prove she is not drink dependant anymore.
People hear the words social workers and fret they are there to judge what is best for the child and their upbringing.
Personally I kept a log of times dates i had my daughter in my care.
If itā€™s a case where she cant shes screwed.

I know, but Iā€™m trying to ride her sister and all that aggro wont help.

Dont ride her just give her the two fingers of death until the case is over.
