My Mrs absolutely loved it too. She never thought it was going to work out, and she gave her a good 13 months or so before she (the small wan) completely stopped (naturally). Said it was brilliant for bonding

Yes and no. Mrs absolutely loves it, still at it 18 months in. Can be tough at night or getting a break but said if we have another sheād do it all again.
And you get to let on your wife has big tits for a couple of years
The extractor fan lads. A god send. Apparently you can use them when cooking too, but I havenāt tried that yet.
The extra cup size is definitely an added bonus! Though, in the epitome of cruelty and irony, access is often difficult to obtain as free time diminishesā¦itās like Fergie said in Barcelona in 99ā¦ you can walk past that Cup, but you canāt touch it, itāll be so near but yet out of reach

No point wasting time, if they aināt up to it, better sort it out earlyā¦
Brings me back all this sleep deprivation eldest was chronic was brutal as a baby and he ended up in our bed on and off until he was 6. Youngest was a dream after 5 weeks she slept through one night from 10:30 to 6:30 next morning the missus asked me what time she woke during the night as we used to share the night feeds and I just said she didnāt! That was it game over after 5 weeks and slept through every night after that. Probably helped greatly that we were way more relaxed as had been noted here, no one has a facking clue what to do on your first.

There are massive benefits to it but itās cruel on women ā¦also makes it harder for father to bond with child as the young baby sees no real value in him and goes where the food is ā¦can be tough on the couples relationship. I was subjected to horrible comments about why canāt my big tits have milk in them .

Woukdnt be my experience Dan it worked out v well. I could see though the pressure being put on women in Holles St especially at the ante natal course around the breastfeeding. Iād say if it didnāt work out for a woman how she could feel fairly shit about the whole thingā¦
As has been said here loads about the sleep routines etcā¦ There isnāt a right and wrong just find something that works and make that the best option

Thereās no right and wrong but breast certainly gives the child all kinds of health and emotional benefits. The bonding canāt be betā¦ Dads do get pushed to the side a bit but that just means you get to do more of the fun stuff . But whatever works for youā¦ bottle fed babies certainly sleep better for the most part.
