Has he got a tablet? You can download lots of age appropriate games and itās a lot cheaper. Iād hold off on PlayStation for a while if you can.
Little Johnny is a dinger on the ipad. He can make it sing so he can.
You can put it done in front of him at 9am and you wonāt hear from him till heās hungry around 12.30pm. I donāt know how we managed without it.

Our lad is 6 and we got him a switch for Christmas - heās used it maybe ten times. Much prefers games like roblox on the iPad where he can chat with his pals/cousins while playing. Not the healthiest I know but at least heās having interactions with others and we limit the time.

Ive come across lads at post primary with huge addiction issues. I talked to an expert on this before and she made the point that when a kid fails to get to next level, all they think about is the mistake they made and what they would do differently. Its like a lad who plays poker and goes on tilt. Leads to poor sleep, little or no concentration in class.
