I’ve stayed clear of this, but this has gone on too long now for me to ignore.
Take a bit of a timeout Joe if you’re able, so you can to review things. Talk to your family first, they will listen to you, love you and help you. Get some professional help as well, go private if you can afford it. Maybe make an appointment with your GP, they can refer you and recommend someone. Take the prescription if it’s offered; the meds will treat the symptoms, the therapy will treat the cause of your unhappiness.
Sometimes we are staring at the pieces of the jigsaw and we know that we have all the pieces but we just can’t put them together. It’s very frustrating and we feet powerless ans paralised and begin to catastrophise about how bad things might become. The longer we look at them the more clear how we get the pieces to come together.
If you can, get a bit of vitamin D, exercise regularly, lay off the sauce and sleep. There are no rainbows without the rain. Hopefully you will be looking forward soon and not looking back…
I honestly think that regular, hard exercise is the only thing that helps @Joe_Player
And by that, I don’t mean fucking about in the gym, I mean running down some crsppy path until you’re tired, and then having to run home again, or find sessions with a half demented coach (swimming in my case) pushes you to the limit. That and family. That is all really. Every now and then, stop and enjoy the view. If you fancy some shock therapy, come over to manc, and I’ll show you swathes of the place that’ll make you count your blessings. Quite seriously.
