Bottle it up and walk on.
There isn’t no. Personally don’t think anti-depressants do a whole pile either, but that’s just my experience.
They might get you to sleep but it won’t be a real sleep either. Try not to be overly stimulated before bed - lights/phone - and get 7-8 hours sleep. Eat well and exercise. Id suggest if youre getting physical pain in your chest you should go book a few counselling sessions and talk it out. Xanx is only masking the issue.
Is it a sign of the job just getting on top of you?
Another cause of the split season I’d say.
Yeah I dont really do the whole “sleep” thing.
How long are you in current role?
Am I right in saying it’s unsociable hours the working times?
At it 5 years.
Yeah it’s a shift work job.
Time for a fresh start, pal?
Job security & monetary security ain’t worth a fuck if you’re not healthy & happy
Sounds like stress alright. To be honest, if the job is the main source of it… Then move roles, life is too short.
Breathing exercises can really help.
No harm to cut out any stimulatants for a while either as sometimes they can trigger things.
Is it a stressful job you do @Batigol, I just know you’re in the airport, not sure what type of job there would be causing stress?
Good luck though, I have no real advice except take it easy on drink and drugs and reduce your screen time if you feel it’s excessive
Been there. Pm me if you want
I would imagine the last six months or so that pretty much every job in the airport would be stress inducing
Best of luck @Batigol. I’ve no real advice or anything, but hope it all gets rectified. It’s increasingly common. Work is often the root, but not always.
Didn’t you suffer with vertigo also?
Try to stand back and try illuminate the stress from your life if you can at all.
Mate - try to let the symptoms pass through you without any opposition. You’re body will reset itself eventually and you’ll be fine.
Sorry to hear that mate. Don’t have any advise other than to say don’t be too hard on yourself. If it is the job triggering it, you would easily pick up another one.
Nasty comment
