The Emergency Budget

Uproar on whether deputies can take budget speech out with them

A right curpuffle…

Unreal stuff

John O Donoghue is like a rabbit caught in the headlights…

Whats going on lads? Something about the opposition not allowed take the book out of the house with them even though the press are?

The media had the budget before the opposition apparently.

Lenihan is some fucker saying that “with the benefit of hindsight more could have been done”. What a cunt. Any responsible economist has been saying for five years that there is no such thing as a soft landing after a property boom.

You’re an angry man WTB you know that? Chill out, you’ll live longer.

We’ve been damaged by our rejection of the Lisbon treaty? Have we?

What a spoofer.

He is telling us about how we were over reliant on construction.

Whats the deal with the income levy? Extra 3% for those earning 50,000 or something like that?

RTE’s live coverage online just disappeared.

Income levy changes

2% from 15k to 75
4% 75 to 175
6% from 175 on

PRSI raised to 75k

Bastards.

He is also caving in on pension levy costing us 100million a year

fags up 20cent I think. Petrol up 5cent a litre.

So much for the 1% income levy being temproary and just for the normal worker.
Suddenly it’s up to 4% for anyone over 75k
Quadrupled !!

I’ll be saving my monthly spend by doing my shopping up north and using ebay for other stuff.

Should be up 8% for those earning over 100k,
They should have gone far further on TD’s expenses, committees etc.
