And there are probably dozens of fine houses for sale at or below build +site price in the area

It’s more expensive to build a house at the moment than is it to buy the equivalent house. How fucked up is that.

It is an odd situation right enough but not uncommon when there is an oversupply in an area. A developer for example might afford to sell below build cost if there wasn’t equivalent Debt attaching. Lot of one off houses being sold by banks and receivers below build cost because it is irrelevant to them

Galway has loads of culture, loads of tourism and a thriving city. Limerick needed that. Shove it up your arse… I won’t set foot in Galway in 2020.

You can’t make a silk purse from a sows ear!

You could with 150m…

Was Limerick not capital of culture or something a year or two ago?

That was one we made up ourselves.

That was some Irish shite that the government rolled out for a bit of gas… To be honest, that was Limerick’s last hope today, the city is in tatters and I can’t see where any investment to that scale is gonna come from… It pains me to say it, but i’ll be bringing any kids I have up in Cork with no thoughts of returning to Limerick, the place is on life support.

Don’t worry it will improve now that you have left

And will you continue to take the Mary I midweek shilling to spend it in Cark at the weekend thus depriving the deprived city of Limerick further?

Disgusted those cunts in Galway*got this, I hope Kilkenny bate them a point a man in the all-Ireland.
