Galway gave sustenance to that Paddy Casey cunt when no one else would take him. They can never be forgiven.
Jesus, how many more times are you going to repeat that???

As many times as I fucking like.
Clipe
Boom and it’s outta here.
+1
Aside from the Bluenote or Beirhouse every other placed is a jointed sweatbox.
An “unwritten agreement”. It doesn’t get much more Irish than that.
In fairness to the licensing sergeant, that’s awful codology. Either allow pubs within the law to stay open till 2 or not, none of this blind eye shite which is the culture that has destroyed the country
I see your a fan of poser pubs. You’d get on well in Neachtain’s too I’d say
Neachtains is an awful cunthole and the bar staff are a horrible shower of ignorant wankers
Posers ?? They sell decent beer in there. Freenys is alright too.
Celebrities owed thousands in ocean race payment row

SOME of the country’s best comedians along with a popular rock band have been left thousands of euros out of pocket following the Volvo Ocean Race.
‘Let’s Do It Global’ (LDIG) organised the grand finale for this year’s ocean race in Galway, but it is feared the company is insolvent with debts of €700,000.
Stand-up comic Dara O Briain is owed around €6,000 for his show, while the team from RTE’s ‘Apres Match’ are due more than €8,000. Former RTE presenter Derek Davis is owed €1,500 and is listed among the 40-plus creditors. Auditors are currently examining LDIG’s accounts.
Joe Wall of The Stunning said the band was still owed around half of their fee. “We got the 50pc booking fee, which is standard, and didn’t get paid the balance,” he said.
Galway City Council provided LDIG with €250,000 in grant aid. John Killeen, chief executive of LDIG, admitted the company may be insolvent.
Previously, he received honorary freedom of Galway for his role in bringing the 2009 ocean race to the city.
"I’m awfully sad at what’s happened.
“We tried to do a positive thing for this city and Ireland and the hurlers on the ditch keep taking swipes,” he said.
Faith
"Why would anybody put their head above water again – only for it to be cut off.
“I was talking to the chief executive of Volvo and he expressed concern that there was a lot of negative news surrounding this in Galway,” Mr Killeen added.
"We made an application to the council for €500,000 in funding for entertainment.
"They only gave us €250,000, so we had to cut back on bands. We spent about €300,000.
“I wouldn’t do it again, to be shot at by people,” he said.
A spokesperson for Galway City Council said it granted €250,000 in support to LDIG “in good faith” on the understanding that a significant proportion would be used for free events at the docks.
“People being paid or not being paid by LDIG is an issue for LDIG. It has nothing to do with us,” the spokesman said.

another kunt fucking people over but apparently it’s everyone else’s fault! Here buddy, you got a quarter of a bar from the rate payers of Galway, if you couldn’t afford these guys you shouldn’t have booked them. FOAD.
“The hurlers on the ditch taking swipes”. Cunt.
I love the way he never addressed the substantive issue. Here’s a bit of advice for you pal, if you knock people to the tune of €700,000 they’re going to take shots at you. From what I heard there was nothing but praise for this Volvo Ocean Race, even Runty went along so I don’t know where he’s going with this ‘everyone was against me’ shite. We’d all put on a great show if we started with a €700,000 head start.

The Runt will jump on any bandwagon available
Agreed, and I wouldn’t be one to just attend any auld cock fight in hope there might be a bit of a session.
“I wouldn’t do it again, to be shot at by people,”
Yea that’s the reason why he wouldn’t do it again.
What a fucking cunt
Galways alright but my favourite irish cities outside of Cork are Waterford and Limerick. It’s a grand spot to get drunk in but you’d be done walking around the centre in half an hour!
Sure we can’t have the Limerick crowd lowering the tone of the place!Don’t be acting the bollox and you’ll be grand like. ![]()
This is my winter song for you.
