The Joe McDonagh Cup incorporating Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and whoever else

What a win, drink it in man…

If ye cunts trained over the winter and stopped drinker from April onwards ye would do serious damage .

Fuck that for a game of soldiers.

To the bar trade

Always good to read the thoughts of the cream of oirish broadcasting :joy:

London Hurlers are due to play Meath today. One problem, their Hurleys never made it across the Irish Sea. Ryanair/Aer Lingus have lost them.

Hurls

Fucking hell :frowning:

Will they play anyway?
They surely will.?

They lost by 16.

Roscommon beat reigning Christy Ring Champions Kildare.

That’s a big shock. Kildare must have been short odds for that game

They were 1/8, bad loss and no other way of cutting it. They were ahead going into injury time, and then Roscommon rattled off 3 points to win it.

Paddy Mullaney hurled in goal for Laois, and outfield on occasion, for a long number of years. Bad bad years, he was keeper for Laois in the 10 goal defeat to Cork, before Cheddar took over. Paddy is a gent of a man.

He lost his wife, 34 years of age, to cancer during the week. 2 very young children left behind. May she Rest In Peace.

Ryan Mullaney is Paddy’s younger brother and centre back for Laois. Can’t have been an easy week below in Castletown this week. Ryan was outstanding last night.

Ye were told.

Have them to win the Joe McDonagh Cup 10/3. Bookies had offaly favourites at the start. I heard they weren’t even training most weeks.
