Some guy on the news here advising students not to study tonight ahead of tomorrow’s big sit-off

“You’ve been studying for 14 years”

Presumably that also applies to the night before every exam during the festival of stress

That is terrible advice

This advice seems to come around every year and its absolutely horrendous advice for the majority of students. Cramming is very successful

I got an A1 in ordinary level Economics off literally one day’s study

I hadn’t taken Economics as a subject in 5th and 6th year and had done all my other seven subjects already so just decided to do the exam for a challenge with no pressure on me at all

I wouldn’t have got that A1 without staying up until 4am the night before studying

You’d want your head examined not to be cramming the night before an exam. Fucking snowflakes haven’t a clue.

When else are you supppsed to study?

I was talking to my niece the other day and she was telling me about how hard she studied for her mocks. Her mocks? Ah shur stop. Where would you be going like.

Hardly her fault - external pressure — it’s the parents putting pressure on kids.

Being serious, its not really the parents in this instance. They’d be very relaxed and easy going with her. Most like peer or self. She’s a good kid, she’ll be grand. Madness cramming for Mocks though. Mocks are designed to scare the shite out of you into studying.

Did all your answers have a Marxist slant?
