Youâll be advised to have it removed when you finish playing sports. Remove it now and it will probably just come back and youâll have to get it done again when you finally do stop.

Just to let people know.
I have conquered hay fever.

How did you triumph Runt?
A mix of awesomeness and not fishing.
Asthma must be a great condition to have. Seems it can get you off with drink driving and/or using performance enchancing drugs.
Got a nasty gash at the bottom of of knee this evening - about an inch below my kneecap. It is not that wide but fairly deep. It has stopped bleeding but could probably do with a few stitches. Donât really want to trapes off to A&E at this time of the evening.
Think I will leave it til the morning to see what it is like. Presume that if I leave it heal on its own it will lead to a bigger scar. Any other drawbacks to not getting it stitched?

Have you cleaned it out properly? Other than that probably nothing once you keep it clean.
Keep it elevated also chewy louie
Yeah, rinsed it out with warm water and dettol. Will leave it dry for the night and dress it in the morning. Not too pushed about a scar as it is my lower knee but if it was on my face, finger etc I would go to A&E
i´d imagine that will keep opening if its around the knee as its costantly bendingâŚyou better give the scab time to form and heal if u want to avoid stitchingâŚ
Iâve a couple of scars on my head that I never got stitched, all good once you keep them clean.
Dash of salt would cleanse it.
If itâs deep you need a tetanus shot if you havenât had one in the last 10 years. Make sure to keep it clean.
Some marathon runners ended up needing amputations recently after getting leg cuts during a race. Think it was in Boston. Iâd get it checked out, Puke.
Has a swift visit to A&E to get my foot/toes x rayed yesterday. I am awaiting the results with anticipationâŚ
Slipped coming out of the shower 10 days ago and I have definitely some damage done.
Not sure there is much that can be done with broken toes anyway?

Strap them and let them heal. Thatâs about it.

Yea, pretty much nothing, like mac said, strap, ice, elevate, stay off the foot as much as possible.
The 8 hours I spend in bed is the only time I can stay off it to be honest. Though sitting at a desk for another 8 hours can be too strenuous on it either apart from gravity effect.
Get a stool, chair, box to put it up on under your desk, that should help somewhat.

Did you not get the results straight away? A broken big toe is a fucker of a thing.
