ALT is very serious. Ring your doc.

Serious

Itā€™s not AIDS or cancer.
Probably just cirrhosis or hepatitis

Agreed, it is not colloquially known as ā€œALT-DELETEā€ for nothing

Anyone suffer from ingrown facial hair?

You are shaving wrong

It is only a recent occurrence, i havenā€™t changed my shaving technique in the last 20 years.

Do you shave against the grain?

no.

If you want a close shave you need to go against the grain.

Well thatā€™s what causes it so you must.

Iā€™ve had one ever that I can recall. Dug it out with a sewing needle and it was fine. I use tea tree oil on any nicks or blemishes I get - it has antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that help heal the skin and also prevent infection.

Any Galway-based posters have any recommendations of dentists in the city?

Have had a lump on my gum for the last year and a half which Iā€™ve neglected. The tooth affected is a molar which had a root canal done on it seven years ago. The filling part fell off four months ago but I just got it refilled without getting to the root (boom) of the problem. The lump, which I presume is an abscess, has now swollen up like a balloon over the last couple of days, particularly last night after the dinner and a re-root canal is the only way out, I think. Although the pain is not too bad the swelling is becoming an irritant and I fear the problem could get worse quickly.

Iā€™ve picked the worst time of the year for this to flare up as it seems none of the dentists are open until the 29th.

This is what you need. A game changer
