The Mac and Treatystones Beer Thread

I switched to stout after two. You couldn’t put away a full day on them.

Same with pretty much all craft beers, they’re not meant to be drank by the rakeload.

best value around id say… A decent beer and four for €5 in Dunnes

Session IPA is meant for a long day .

Packaged soup, coleslaw, Rocky road. I’d say you’re gone an awful size

Says the supermacs advocate… Get to fuck.

Haven’t been in a Supermacs all year*

*They don’t have an outlet in Dundalk

Lots of plastic packaging there too mate

I stocked up on a load of nonperishables today for when the Armegeddon hits. We’ll see who’s laughing when you’re sucking your neighbours dick for a tin of beans in a couple of weeks.

You need to man-up and get your own beer fridge.

Is the missus off the drink again?

Superb. Home bargains are giving it away at a quid a bottle

4 from this Mayo brewery for a tenner in Lidl. This IPA and an ale also.

Edit: Not bad taste wise but no head after pouring

I wouldn’t give it to a dying dog.

Fuck it no point pouring it down the sink at this stage

When are ye going to realise that 99% of this craft stuff is piss?

Its thrown up a few decent options but the majority would be of the piss variety alright.

Scraggy bay being a great addition

Particularly the ales. It’s usually a few ingredients fucked into a bucket for a few months by a few hobbyists who should know better

An owner of a craft brewery told me that making an IPA was handy enough but making a decent lager was very tricky.

I’d much prefer a couple of glasses of decent red wine now to a couple of beers.

I might get into teas next.

That is debatable but what puzzles me is how they are economically viable .
