Not sure if these have already been mentioned here but I drank litres of 312 and Green Line wheat beers in Chicago. Both brewed locally - both excellent.
I also enjoyed plenty of Blue Moon and Brooklyn Lager during my recent vacation.

Cruzcampo isn’t bad. When in Spain, with limited choice, do as the Spaniards do. I see it’s in Tescos now.
San Miguel is a fine beer.
Ratebeer.com- Top 50. Some good reviews- tho I havent heard of many of them. Should we hand out assigments to our top tasters to review some of these bad boys?
My local boozer in Tipp is having a mini Octoberfest during this month. They stock some great locally brewed beers & ales.
Looking forward to indulging in a few.
Had a bottle of Stonewell Cider in there last week. A very nice cider and not as sweet as Bulmers.
:strokechin:
It’s where I drink when I’m in Tipp.
Very heavily weighted towards seasonal brews by US microbreweries so it is very unlikely that more than 10 of that list would have found their way over here
I’m sure you can get that Westvleteren in the porter house. But as always, you are 100% correct Fagan.
Just having a bottle of O’Haras Irish pale ale watching the match. Picked it up in dunnes. Quite nice.
Got a few bottles of Tyskie beer off a mate from work who is polish. Fairly tasty stuff so far on bottle 1. 5.6 %
Having a few bottles of that Schofferhofer wheat beer from Aldi. It’s pretty good tack.
Westvleteren 12 is available in Tesco. Rated number one on the rate beer top 50 list above and you will see why. A delicious little wheat beer with a slight hint of fruit.
Tesco also stocks other variations of Westvleteren and also currently has a few Oktoberfest beers in.
Cheers for the heads up, gonna pick up a few of those.
Howling Gale Ale - from mitchelstown.
Currently sipping away on this. Picked it up in Tesco earlier. Only noticed the low alcohol percentage now.
Shandy boy!
And 1 for the road…
Was over in Belarus for last two weeks and was drinking a local beer it may have been Russian either but it was smashing 500ml bottles could brink 7 or 8 and absolutely no hang over what so ever ‘Data 1864’ was the name
