Long way to go in this Test Match. Aussie bowling attack severely depleted. Root should be on for a double century.
It’s a fairly typical dead and flat Adelaide wicket. 500 possibly a par score on this. England have managed to keep the bowling tight enough and have beaten the outside edge on quite a few occasions without any luck. The dropped catch from Buttler a key moment.

I thought it was just the Gabbatoir he was an expert on but he has called Day 1 in Adelaide superbly to be fair to him. You would know his hometown has the best cricket pitch in the country.
