Chocolate in Limerick is the best of the restaurants. The mill bar in Annacotty is way nicer than finnegans
Gallaghers of Dublinā¦
That place isnāt all what youāre making it out to be. There are hundreds of places better.
Tourists flano, tourists.
From tour as well as it turns out, ah lovely work there out of me
Whereās Chocolate in Limerick? Any connection to the one in Wexford town?
OāConnell street, same side as Empire Music and not far away, out further towards the Cresentā¦
I canāt agree on that Mac.
It may not be a Michellen Star but it is at least as good as many other standard carveries, if not better.
Its not the one under the George Hotel is it?
Yes
They donāt serve caviar there-thatās Macās gripe with the place Iād say
Oh right, I was in there before and didnt think it was that great. Iād prefer to go across to Luigi Malones anyday. Excellent spot and not expensive .
chocolat is miles ahead of luigis i think, they do a three course early bird for 20 euro, the foor is very good.
Definately. If the Limerick Chipper group was alive and well Iād move to expell anyone who thought Luigi Malones food was nice & Eddie Rockets too for that matter. Over expensive & under tasty chipper food is all it is.
I wouldnāt agree farmer, Iād sooner pay the extra 3.50 and eat down in Sinnotts which is a much better carvery, or OāNeills is class at that time of day as well. If you want value in the Harcourt Street area you should go into the little cafe on Montague street beside the Casino. Owned by a Wexford man. Canāt remember the name of the place but itās worth trying out.
Sinnotts is ordinary apart from their beef.
I fucking hate OāNeills!!
What is it with you hating places / people / music that most people find popular / ok?
Gerrys is it? Fucking cut the mouth off ya it comes out so hot. Cafe Bliss beside it is a great shout - free garlic bread before your main course. Chicken caesar wrap and curries are quality.
Diceys is rotten, OāNeills is far superior also D2 wouldnāt be bad for the Carvery.
Iāve heard of a number of muldoons refer to Sinnotts half and half as The Green Mile due to it being classed as the last meal youād need.
Gerrys is the one. A proper feed. To put my bogger voice on, itād be a grand place to stop off on the day of a match for a good lining on the stomach and good homemade tae.
I know a lot of people who hate OāNeills.
