The Official Nottingham Forest 🌳 Supporters Thread

Anyway, it’s the league cup, no one gives a fuck. Leeds this week. Please ensure levels of seethe and hate are appropriately logged on this thread in advance (Hi Gusser!).

Forest are off to the Bridge after the draw overnight.

I hope we break the fuckers up

Cloughie will be rolling in his grave tonight, what a shower.

Some collection of overweight middle aged men there

Harmless lads really.

We are still shit at the back, the decent start may prove telling in the relegation dogfight to come

Late strike from Slab gives us victory at the Stadium of Light

Really poor match, Sunderland had the better chances but nice finish by Murphy when the one chance fell his way.

Slab’s going to be a great signing for us.

Slab is the greatest striker of all time

but he’s playing with possibly the most useless defense of all time

Must say, we played some really great stuff last night, when we pass it well, we pass it really well. Kieran Dowell can be either really good or really frustrating, thankfully last night he was the former. His first two goals were sublime finishes. There’s still the defensive frailties as ever, although Hull’s first goal was a worldly and the second was a foul on Darikwa, so we might just excuse them for last night.

I particularly liked the passage of play that led to Ben Osborn hitting the bar. From goalkeeper Smith to Osborn at the other end, 19 uninterrupted passes, dragging Hull out of position.

Warburton sacked. Fawaz is gone but the Forest merry go round continues unabridged.

Are there any likely runners at this stage to take over? Or do I really want an answer to that?

Warburton destroyed his career going to the Scotch league.

Put your house on Karanka to be in the hotseat by this day week. His football might be a tad dull but he would sort us out at the back. I’m a big admirer.

Gary Brazil in caretaker role away at Leeds for the third time in four seasons. It’s like Groundhog Day really.

Lichaj has us 2-1 up here against the gooners, 2nd an absolute beauty

3-1 now, Brereton from the spot
