We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.

The Jesus you know is largely based on 19th/20th century construction from the bible, mate.
Baptize? I personally don’t want to - Princess wants to - I told her I’d let her if she really wanted but that I wouldn’t shy away from telling them the truth based on facts,logic and common sense once they were old enough… They’ll be non-believers by 12 at the latest if we do go down that road, mate… I’ve explicitly told her I won’t be bringing them to church tho… not that she ever goes herself ffs.
I’m well aware of Gods son being born to a virgin going back the years across various religions.
Bits and pieces from other beliefs including paganism have been incorporated into Christianity…but look no one really knows…as an example its nice for the likes of my mother to have something to believe in.
Atheism is grand but there’s no need to push those beliefs on others either on this thread or in general.
