Youâve made me cry you horrible person
Iâm no fan of the church, but itâs typical of the Irish to find someone to blame and absolve themselves. Look, homes such as Tuam and the laundries were funded by the state and overseen by the state. As were industrial schools, where sexual and physical abuse was rampant, and it wasnât just clergy doing the abuse as anyone who has read the Murphy report can see for themselves.
The politicians of the time are the main culprits here, from county councillors to TDs, the oneâs elected to protect all members of society. They should be named and shamed, instead of blaming a few nuns whose intentions were probably good to begin with, until they were swamped with the volume of poor the Irish were discarding.
Cringe.
Neanderthal.
Thread killer. Do you realise how odious you really are ?
Odious is defending a culture that incarcerated women for having children out of wedlock, and doing it on the food thread as you havenât the cajones to do it in this thread.

Bullshit.

Yes mate. I have a deep faith.
âAâ dull
That wasnât what I asked. Are you a regular mass goer?

Sigh.
