I’m trying to replace the blades. I’ve the head on the locknuts well ruined at this stage. Would grinding them off be a terrible idea- I’m thinking they’ll be jammed in bushings and loosening the remaining portion wont be easy?

New bolts, nuts & spacers can all be bought spurious.

Would you expect the bolts to be seized in bushings? Excuse my ignorance…

Depends how old machine is or how long they’re in there.

Better to replace the whole lot. Cheap fix bar the angle grinder bit
