Valid point but not sure Matthews needed to go down legal route to vindicate himself based on Cork results since he left doing that job for him.
Heās starting a new school tomorrow as well. Will see how he gets on as a first year. His Kilmallock confidence will see him through hopefully.

And you are more than welcome to criticise me in public or take me on. DM was a sham. I saw him train the Cork Seniors. It was shit. It was 400M training. It was not S&C for hurling. They failed to lift weights for months on end. And when they did they were given generic orograms off a Mens Health mag.
If anyone wants to challenge that bring it on. But its just criticism. I won an AI last year and had 1 injury and got criticism at board level.

Accusing a professional of negligence and incompetence and causing physical harm to the welfare of those they are charged with look after is most certainly slander, particularly when it is made without a single iota of proof.

You might as well shut down the forum so - Coaches/trainers and everyone else are being called out in that manner here for yearsā¦If a team is not performing or is rocked with a number of injuries than all aspects of the background team are going to questioned and judged - that goes hand in hand with sport. Trainers are judged on results ffs, and always will be. The Cork team were not physically up to it and were rightly questioned. The Limerick team were not physically up to it and the trainer was lambasted here by a number of partiesā¦ And by not preparing your players properly, you are sending them out to get injuredā¦
Accusing someone of fraud is a different story.
