I genuinely wonder how single parents do it sometimes. Mrs Mac is away with her sisters since Thursday. Iâve had sole responsibility for the little lad since picking him up from the creche on Thursday evening. Tomorrow afternoon canât come quick enough

Iâve 3 kids, two with the mrs and one which I only see every 2nd weekend his 7 now, doesnât make it any easier though.
Never wanted to bring a kid into a life without a full time fatherâŚanyone have similar situations itâs all good with his mother etc but there is only so much you can do every 2nd weekend especially when he is a 2 hour drive away.

I had the two weans last weekend when the Mrs was in Cork for 2 nights it was hard going as their used to being round mammy every day I want this I want that,mammy does it this way mammy does it that way,long few days on my own as each one needs someone to go to bed with them, not easy,young teenage girls should have to mind kids every weekend of their transition year and Iâd say they wouldnât be long making young lads double bag the 6 inch poker

To be fair balbec they were coming round to my way of thinking by the time we picked the mother up on Monday,a couple of weeks with daddy and theyâd be making their own beds and mopping the kitchen

My daughter is a disaster in the mornings when her mother gets her up. Not a word out of her when I do. And i donât whinge either. I am the good cop in the marriage.
