It can be tough going and then invariably you have some cunt telling you how to āparentā when you dare complain. I had nights when I had my two to myself and I literally had to drag them apart while getting kicked, scraped, punched, etc. There is a certain age where boys and girls love hammering the shit out of each other, the girls are particularly good a getting the sly dig in. Then the prize cunt makes their appearance with ābut did you not sit them down and talk about itā line and you just want to headbut them.

That can be tough pal. Just make sure your own missus is online when you have 7 year old over. Judging by 2 hours away you prob canāt take him mid week which is tough. My mate is in same boat. Donāt burst your bollox with activities etc on weekend you have him otherwise youāre the treat parent. Instead box off an hour for school/homework and also bring him on any family breaks. May be awkward getting accom but at least he knows heās part of the bigger unit.
Luckily thereās a good bond with his mother. My mate was the other way and some of her behaviour was horrific.
Mrs Goode is great with the little fella.
I got up with him last Thursday night for the first time in 14 months. She looks after all that stuff.
She wonāt work again til he is 3 or 4 or that age for anymore little Goodes that come along, please God, down money but thatās the choiceā¦

Both lads slept the night last night. First time in 3+ weeks. Woke this morning and thought something was wrong. Finally shaking this flu.

Dont know if any of ye have kids teenagers but I walked in yesterday and the young one was watching a show called pretty little liars. Now I wouldnt call myself a prude or anything but Eastenders wouldnt hold a candle to it. And to make it worse the wife told me it was specifically aimed at teenagers
The youngsters love the PLL mate, you just gotta go with it. That and Gossip Girl. Its a whole new world out there.
I know chief I know. At 13 though it was Knight rider and the A team for me. The only gay I knew was that lad on the late late and a lesbian was someone from a Greek island somewhere.

Have a 2 year old and a 10 month old. For the past 4 months two weeks has hardly passed where one, the other or both hasnāt been sick with some sort of bug/virus/infection, including 2 trips to the hospital. Iām driven demented and Iām sure itās not easy on them either. This āphaseā coincides with going to child minder for the last few months. Either sheās carrying out biological experiments or my kids have been born were the no immune systems. Anyone else in the same boat?
Are there other kids at the child minders place? I assume they are just picking up bugs from other kids. Happens all the time.
Just out the back of the āmonth from hellā. And our kids are at home, as opposed to a childminders. Itās the changing seasons - autumn to winter is a bitch of a time. Same last year too. Weāve had coughs, snots, pukes, flus, earaches, bellyaches, plus very little sleep. And snap! Two trips to Emergency.
What can I say pal. This too shall pass. The joys of being a parent.

Between four and six others. The frequently is what worries me. Between all of it the young fella whoās is eating fuck all the last few weeks.
Plus, you havenāt lived until youāve battle your kid at 2am to convince him that steam is the best best for helping him get over croup.
Run of the mill Amby. Had a visit to A&E with the youngest last week, the other lady is sick this week, the wife is in bed with the flu and KP is running on about 4 hours sleep a night.
Garlic, acupuncture, nasal rinsing and meditation have made me bulletproof.
