Bad advice. A dog can be a vital ally. In fact the only ally. When thereās nappies flying left, right and centre having a dog to walk can be crucial.
you have a very special talent for driving a few lads bananaās it seems. That was pure harmless stuff there.
I speak about myself because thatās what I know, I have no insight into anybody elseās experience of going through childbirth and the aftermath with a partner

If you value your sleep then make sure they sleep in their cot, not on you or your Mrsā lap. If they cry when theyāre in the cot pick them up but put them back. Short term it might be a pain but itās worth it. I was in a house with seven kids of 3 and under at the weekend. You could tell from the parentsā faces who allowed their kids sleep on their laps.

Bone of contention alreadyā¦ Baby and mum asleep here but in mothers arms, she wonāt settle in cot at allā¦ Not even 24hours in and this little lady wants a warā¦ She better tool up.
His grandfather had often told him that he tried too hard to move trees when a wiser man would walk around them.

She wants to be cosy. I found swaddling and a soother did the trick.
Swaddling defo worth a shot. Baby has had 9 months of cozyiness disrupted so will be very happy sleeping in arms of mother as its closest to where she came from.
My mother in law was down to help the first few nights. I stayed in the same room as Rascal. Anytime he cried, the mother in law would come in and say u need to do this and that. I ran her after a few days. Took a year for relations to thaw.
