First round of vaccines yesterday … I just about got through it. Thankfully princess was there to hold my hand …

she’s pretty much slept since injections, take it that’s pretty normal? she woke for small feeds and calpol… but 4 rounds of the bastard things in a year? How many did we get back in the day?

Rookie mistake, always get them on a Friday afternoon if you can. Otherwise you’ll end up falling asleep at your desk, or in your case missing out on replying to someone with a comment that you deem witty.

Of course.

He had them at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. The week after sleep is erratic and they become very irritable.

When dropping the 2 lads off this morning I was told that the mother of one of the eldest lads classmates had passed away. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer last September. The husband was in our house on Saturday with the little girl for our lads birthday parties. He expected her to have a few weeks left.

They have 4 kids, youngest is 4 and the oldest is 9 or 10. He’s a farmer so not as if he has an easy job or anything. Apart from a child dying I’m struggling to think of a worse scenario for any Dad to be left in. Anyway, I’m not really sure what the point of the post is other than go and enjoy the time you have with those little ones cos you never know what shit could lie around the corner.
