Is there never any movement here on match day?
The pretend City fans are on sabbatical
Great to see a local lad being the hero again, despite all their riches City know what a club is truly about. The one thing money has done is allowed City retain young talents like Foden, in years gone by others would have used their financial muscle to take lads like that away from the club and turn them into proper deviants.
It’s beautiful how the investment at City has been directed in the right ways. Into the community. Into the academy. Into the stadium. Into the people.
Manchester is Blue, and it’s beautiful.
A family club. Because lairy louts aren’t singing Bluemoon as they wait for the next Ryanair flight out of Terminal 3 in Manchester, some fellas are able convince themselves ‘it means less’.
He struggled to find the goals in Old Trafford so little surprise he didn’t know where Maine Road was either.
He found them at Anfield one day though
He made the scousers cry mate.
I seem to remember it took him ages to get his first goal. Twas a bit of a running joke. There was some champions league group game they were winning handily like 4 or 5 nil. Forlan wins a penalty in the final minute and grabs the ball in order to take it and break his goalscoring duck. Keane comes over and rips the ball off him and gave it to Van Nistelrooy instead.
Nantes. Was at it the same night. 5-2 up I think and Keane was having none of it. Forlan also should have scored before that if I remember rightly.
He knows now
The players actually planned a knee slide competition….

Not in my lifetime, indeed
Pep selling cole palmer and replacing him Jeremy Doku was a horrendous bit of business.
Will likely cost them the title.
