Great to see a local lad being the hero again, despite all their riches City know what a club is truly about. The one thing money has done is allowed City retain young talents like Foden, in years gone by others would have used their financial muscle to take lads like that away from the club and turn them into proper deviants.
It’s beautiful how the investment at City has been directed in the right ways. Into the community. Into the academy. Into the stadium. Into the people.

I seem to remember it took him ages to get his first goal. Twas a bit of a running joke. There was some champions league group game they were winning handily like 4 or 5 nil. Forlan wins a penalty in the final minute and grabs the ball in order to take it and break his goalscoring duck. Keane comes over and rips the ball off him and gave it to Van Nistelrooy instead.
Nantes. Was at it the same night. 5-2 up I think and Keane was having none of it. Forlan also should have scored before that if I remember rightly.
