Yeah… I have for the first NCT for our 7 seater, there before Xmas. I guess, if it has been NCT’ed before they don’t bother as all the details are on their system

It was 100 quid at the time but RTE ruined that with their investigation …
Got this last year, the back tyre was in an awful state, all tyre places were closed as it was 7pm, I asked him can I drive it home as he said off with ya

Being an NCT tester must be one of the most boring jobs.
Was in and out in 5 mins. A lot to be said for rocking up at 11pm. I fixed a fail advisory for good order and they never bothered checking.
They are making some overtime these days
