Joe takes Florida !

The energy crisis wont be over by the next election. People will vote to stay warm. Forget it

Fair point. Massive issue for the Greens if energy bills keep going the way they are

:sunglasses:

People say stuff like that about Steven Gerrard and the Liverpool manager’s job.

They used to say it about Alan Shearer and the Newcastle manager’s job.

Once SF get into power they’ll be like Shearer managing Newcastle and they’ll practise “democracy” like Viktor Orban.

Eamon’s lettuce initiative on the other hand could save us from starving

In all seriousness how anyone could vote Sinn Fein after what they did to Shergar is beyond me

Hmmm. Will ff go into power as the minority party? A similar split in the next election with ff and fg landing in or around 70 seats between them and a raft of independents willing to do deals might be more tempting for ff and fg.

Then we are all fucked.

I don’t understand this point. Surely it has been the reliance on fossil fuels has left us in this position. If we’d invested far more heavily in renewables we wouldn’t have this problem is a fair narrative however true or false it is

Inherited the family post office at 21.

Are the energy suppliers here in Ireland not making record profits? Seems half the issue is greed, not renewables…

When people need to survive the next six months they don’t have the luxury to think of what will happen in sixty years.

Psychology innit.

Still can’t see SF beating FFG plus whichever others they bribe to cling to the greasy til.
