Hero.
As an aside, if anyone is struggling with their deadlift, I’d recommend visualisation: just picture yourself picking it up and dropping it onto the face of the thousandth fella who roars “G’wan Hoggie Baiiiiiiiii” into your ears Sunday
Serious lifting pal. What weight are you?
Heavier than I’d like. Id say I must be 115kgs now
Lifting heavy weight off the ground is probably the worst activity a human can do. Seriously.
It’s not what the human body was designed for
Was Curves busy this morning?
An unbelievable session. 5 x 5 x 10 = 250 reps
Swings
Cleans
Press
Squats
Rows
Are you training to be a power lifter?
Pumping heavy weight to hit isolated muscle groups is very 20th century.
I happen to be from the 20th century…
I’m not training for anything really. I just enjoy moving heavy weight around.
I used to but back and shoulder were constantly fucked.
No such issues now
Yeah I avoid going over 100 on the back squat cos that kills my back. Stick to machines or zercher squats.
Never had any issues with the shoulders thankfully
Nice earrings
Country is crying out for block layers
The headbangers would beg to differ.
Oops
About 6 weeks into kettlebells and I’m down about half a stone on the scales… I’m never too bothered by the scales really once I’m feeling good but I’ve also put on a bit of weight in muscle. My arms and shoulders are as big as they’ve ever been… I’m feeling stronger also.
I’m getting in one weights session a week/ every 10 days also. In this I’m doing single leg split squats with 25s x 3 sets, walking lunges with 20s x 3 sets, pull ups and bench x 3 sets also. I hit my shoulders in most kettle bell sessions so not doing a heavy session on those.
The last few workouts had me sucking air by the last couple of rounds…
5 swings
5 cleans
5 overhead press
5 squats
5 bent over rows
Using 2 x 20kgs and 1 minute rest in between for 10 rounds.
The back is feeling great @Juhniallio
