The Pretend Fitness 2 - the Turkish Get Up Thread

Have you never seen the MOUNTAINS of shpuds this fella posts on the ravenous thread?

He’s an unreal man for a shpud and a market leader on the ravenous thread, but wouldn’t kill him to add in a bit of broccoli.

250kg taken for a walk. Spud power

It’s like something you’d see mounted on the front of a Massey 7726 with a double bale carrier on the back.

I don’t think I’d push 50 on it today (cc sickness thread).

Got up to 270 but I think I’ll need thinner weights to achieve my 300 target as they wobble like fuck once you stack them above that spoke thingy

Genuine question for tbe heavy hitters,
Are ye putting in a lash of cardio aswell?
Im noticing especially younger guys in tbe mardyke arena they push heavy weights but not often will they do any cardio
It’s a recipe fir disaster

Yeah I’m slack enough on the cardio, aside from a lot of hiking. Just love lifting

Men over 35 should be lifting more than running. It Doesn’t have to be heavy…

But everyone should be doing a little bit of cardio alright.

This is where kettlebells are great as they combine both - this is very important for time constrained centrist dads who like to frequent left wing forums and right wing telegram groups.

A load of Ukrainians have time for both cardio & lifting weights.

Yeah I’m trying to lean into moving weight lately. Pushing sleds, farmers carries, flipping tyres etc. Good finisher after a weight session
