A gym acquaintance knocked that out this morning, in fact I like her, rotten face, but an unreal body
I’ve only ever done one 10k race. Finished in either 43 or 44mins.
That’s some time for a woman, unbelievable. She must be obsessed with fitness, there’s no way she’s a fun runner doing that. I’d say she has a banging body… What age would she be?
i ran 10k in 50 minutes this morning myself
Did a 5k in just over 20mins last summer and that included having to stop to tie a lace. Given my legs are only about 16 inches long that’s the equivalent of a normal person running 7k
oh yeah, full time pt and a fitness freak, some hole on her, ates nothing but fish and salad
That’s good. Did you start at the top of a mountain and run down?
Anyone serious about running should be doing 10k under 40 mins. 5k under 20 mins. If you’re well above that you’re clearly at nothing.
On a treadmill or outdoors? Its harder do a fast run outdoors as you’ll have weather, gradients, obstacles to contend with as well as having to create all your own momentum.
I should have got a few fartleks in today they really make a difference to your time but I hadn’t the heart to really dig in. You need someone running with you that’s as good or better than you really as well…
Sure I’m half a cripple and I like good grub, how would expect me to be sub 20 with everything stacked up against me. I’ve a bad back.
outside, on the roads, first time out this year
im drinking a few bottles of Guinness here to recover, jesus I’m fucked after it
That was a great effort mate you must be fierce fit to just head out and do that without being used to it. You earned those bottles of beer tonight.
done a three miler tonight to loosen up, 9:24 pace on the garmin
I went out for 10 miler this morning and ended up doing a half marathon as I was enjoying it, 2:12 unreal
Cmmmmmaaaaannnnn.
I could have done 5km in 23 minutes but for my iliotibial band syndrome playing up.
Heroic stuff.
Brilliant Bandage, you must have been nearly flat out, some stamina
Thanks, pal. I had a real pep in my step.
I did my second 5k in about 6 months yesterday and after my recent bout of illness i still got it done in just over 21 mins. Seeing as the last 0.6k is up a slope with 60-70% gradient I was very happy. Was coughing up the last of the phlegm from my body at the finish but feeling great today. We’re back, baby.
That’s pretty slow, mate. I know two sisters who run 5kms in 17:30.
