You know full well you trickster.
well done, pal. A decent jog today. I know the pace I’ll have to beat tomorrow morning so
Would be interested to see your Heart Rate stats if they are there.
fuckin weirdo
I’m even giving that one a like myself. What a weird fucking thing to say to a stranger on the internet.
I have it still if anyone wants it…
Through the roof I’d say!! Stopped wearing a monitor years ago. Felt great around 4-7km tbf
That’s a fantastic run down there. Did you go all the way as far as the south ring road on the cycle path?
Yeah. So Rochestown, Hartys Quay, The walk to Blackrock castle, the Pairc, Ballintemple, Temple Hill, the Well road, Douglas and back out. The couple kid hills are great training
Can you all the way from rochestown to the pairc on that cycle path? Often did it from city centre down centre pArk Rd but only ever went as far as south ring before I turned back. Where do you cross the water?
O God yeah! So the cycle path goes around Jacobs Island to BRock castle. But it also follows the old train line from the Pairc, down under the Blackrock Road, the back of Argos etc at Mahon Point, over the foot bridge over the Link, the red bridge and then Hartys Quay. Have parked by the Rochestown Inn and walked straight to the Pairc a few times
A little enough known amenity? Would many cycle to work from rochestown to city centre I wonder
Loads do. Very popular in the summer. Would take it as a short cut home from training in the summer and you’d be forever slowing down for dog walkers and buggy pushers. Great amenity, Cork is a great place tbf
I still never got round to the last programme you sent me, brah.
Highlight of tonight’s workout.
Deadlifted 140kg x 1 x 1
squatting 130kg x 2.
Jogged a 5km between 8pm and 8.25pm. Even 5 mins/km pace. I’m a very disciplined athlete.
Not so bad pal but I would have preferred
To have had a few more months at it. January was a lot of Z1/2 training but I’ve been training at higher heart rate last few weeks. Did a fast 5k jog the other day by my standards at 4.33/km but the HR came in at an average of 146bpm. A few months back I’d have been close to full throttle to do that pace.
Tis like the new dog track in Limerick !!
I did a VO2 test last weekend and was given zones etc. I’m not fit at the moment at all but think I’ll give it a go for a few months anyway. I’ll be interested to see where my heart rate is for intervals and slower stuff.
Great running mate. Well done
