The Pretend Fitness Thread

Same issue as last year. Serious instability in the core area. Sore groins (alternating between left & right) , sore when kicking, sore lower mid riff, tight hips.

Great pace @caulifloweredneanderthal :+1: On Strava too, but then you’d be a mug not to be.

Too many 35 plus lads pushing themselves now. Fellas that did fcuk all from ages 20 to 35 , lived on takeaways and drank 6 nights a week. Madness .

I’ve lost 8 kilo since Christmas and regained my Carl Froch physique through pesco-vegetarianism, mindfulness and a strict training regime. I feel unreal, some days I have so much energy I have to jump up and down on the spot to use it up

You can do anything you put your mind to, you have to believe in yourself

@Bandage still hasn’t broken the 20 min barrier … can you please offer the man some inspiration.

he’s living a screen led, bloated acidic lifestyle, consuming dead dead animals, to break that magical 25 minute 5k, he needs to change

True but the trouble is that the body can’t cash the cheques that the mind is writing.

You can do achieve anything you want, you have to believe in yourself

I have abandoned the screen led acidic bloated lifestyle I was leading, I have embraced who I am, I am finding myself, I have changed priorities now

Have you an allotment on the main land, pal?

screen led?

Was talking to some lads recently who espoused eliminating coffee from their lives as changing their lives in ways they never thought possible. Said it improved sleep, removed anxiety etc.

They were drinking pints at the time but one vice at a time.

They sound like weak people to me - I’d suggest that’s their real problem.

Life without Caffeine > Life with Caffeine

I can assure you of that
