Followed this up with a game of 6 aside tonight … Bolloxed now. Fucked even.

@caoimhaoin what would be a good hiit session I could do on my own for about 40mins, sprinting mostly with some planks/pressups/burpees or similar thrown in?? I’m trying to drop 1/2 - 1 stone

I have my own session but don’t know if I’m doing enough in each session in terms of reps and sets or is there another exercise I should be doing in between, what should be the rest time between reps and sets etc

Post up what you’re doing and I’ll critique it.

Warm up & stretch
6 x 50m sprints, jog back each time
10 tuck jumps and 50m sprint x 3, jog back each time
10 press ups and 50m sprint x 3, jog back each time
10 burpees and 50m sprint x 3, jog back each time
10 ski hops and 50m sprint x 3, jog back each time
2min rest
10 x 10m shuttle runs, 30 second plank rest x 4
Warm down & stretch

What age are you ??

More muscle work - weights if you really want to lose weight - hiit to complement it… you can do body weight squats, lunges, pull ups off goal posts, press ups, mountain climbers etc, etc.

Yeah it’s just hard for me to make the gym mid week and there’s a pitch beside me that I can run on in my own time and I’ve always enjoyed hitting the pitch a lot more than the gym

As i said, try introduce a body weight circuit you can do on pitch - Diet is key to weight loss.
