Got a weights session in today had hurling training yesterday for the cardio. I’m fitter now then I was 5 years ago. I had a workout this morning also was working shoveling rocks and dirt. This is in stark contrast with some lads here who spent the morning tip tapping their phones about John daleney

I downloaded my fitness pal there. Inputtted my stats (6’2, 100.5kg and fairly active) and it told me to lose a small bit of weight, I can have 3,000 calories a day. Been flat out eating all day but have only managed 2,500. And I’ve been for a long walk and done a heavy-ish weights session.

I’ll have to get a few cans or something if into hit this target and lose a bit of weight

Good man
Where was that? Can you put up your data so we can give it an analysis of where you went wrong ?

Would be delighted to be told where it went all wrong for me on this run. Surprised at my time. Definitely went to “that place” from around 8km to 15km where I had no pain, no pressure, felt unbreakable. Last 2km I was in trouble, didn’t have much left in the tank but I reckon that was the mind kicking in. Jogging past the house in order to get over the 20km mark was a mistake.

Back when I was doing a lot of training, I used to have to run directly away from the house for eight or so miles, so I had to run back. I stopped taking emergency money after I got the bus home once.

That’s cracking running BTW.

Good running. Fairly consistent. You can’t complain with that.

Surely Jeeves would have been driving the Bentley at a respectable speed behind you?

That only improves with repeating.
