Lovely hurling
That’s some going in that heat. 2h for me
2:51 the first 17 miles took its toll on the legs but I battled on.
Under three hour marathon? Remarkable effort.
The kids were off school this week so the mornings were easy in our gaff, I’ve done 90k since Tuesday to mimic peak marathon training, the legs were begging me to stop a little while ago coming to the end of a ten miler,
I’m in good shape for the Marathon, many other takers for Dublin 2019? Are you doing it @caulifloweredneanderthal
I’m not pal. Haven’t been getting the time to do proper training so this year is not the year for me.
Was looking forward to a half in the Mournes yesterday , but did something to my back last week, so took a deferral to next year. Would love to be getting the training in, but other priorities at the moment
Ive packed in running. Crippled with injuries/pain and no time for training with family.
That’s a shame, I’d it a specific injury?
I train while the kids are still in bed, couldn’t do it otherwise
Im up by 5.30 at latest. By the time they go to bed, im a beaten docket. Have foot, hip and knee issues.
I forgot to mention my 3 minute commute to work , 20 minutes when it includes dropping my own kids to school, the youngest is six now as well
Any plans to replace it with something else?
Probably two years away from them figuring out how to work the telly themselves. They are more or less reared then
Trying to decide between Dublin and Amsterdam. Don’t have entry for Dublin yet but additional places being made available in July. Fittest I’ve been in about 3 years so looking forward to marathon training.
Crossfit would be ideal.
Swimming? Cycling?
How’s me oul buddy?
Do you reckon these are as a result of excessive running?
Good mate, thanks for asking. Best wishes to the clan.
Anseo.
Took it easy this week after the Cork Half Marathon, 5 mile is all but will go again today if it ever stops raining. Think we’re about 20 weeks out from the DCM so will use an off the shelf training plan for that. Bit of cycling too
