Can’t make any progress on the bench press. Literally every other lift is increasing nicely but if anything my bench is decreasing. Also causing me issues in my shoulder lately. Anyone any suggestions?

Stop doing it

You need to ate a shedload and put on some weight

Even then may be marginal gains but worth trying that.

What are you benching now (3 rep max) and what do you weigh

I covered this before I believe … You obviously need work on the muscles that support the lift, your shoulders being the main one … but wrists / elbows could be causing you issues also… come down to a weight where you can just about manage 5 reps … x 3 reps. Twice a week. Up it the following week and repeat … the same the following week… just keep increasing it bit by bit but work those shoulders and arms also.

Right now about 90kg for 3 reps. Weight about 95kgs

That’s what’s annoying me. My OHP has gone up massively

hit those smaller shoulder muscles.

Obvious one is to drop down to build back up again.
Another issue is symmetry in that no one (unless your juicing) will progress equilaterly on both side I.e. you may have a weaker side.
Best approach for this is to bench dumbbells for a while and you can do it on an incline if you want to hit the chest harder.
Caveat though, if your benching 95 kg with a barbell dont think you can divide in 2 and use dumbells at the same weight, the neuro requirement is much more advanced. Start with 2 35s and progress from there.

Ah ffs

What’s wrong with 90kgs bench? That’s a grand weight for someone at it twice a week.
