That’s cos all the grease coming off your bald head has the shoes ruined
I don’t do strict intervals because I don’t like running around in circles, I’m going to try to incorporate it into future marathon training, I do a bit of fartlek a couple of times a week, I normally train at about 5:15 per kilometre, but I’d run maybe 4 or 5 stretches at 3:45 to 4:00 per k, this could be anything from 250m to a kilometre, Strava segments are useful inspiration for this.
Is there a way to see Strava segments in advance of a run / cycle without being a premium member? I know you can see them after you’re finished as part of your route obviously
I used to do occasional fartlek stuff but at the moment I’m just farting going 'round at a slowish pace.
When I’ve a bit of pace back, I’ll do it again. There’s a 1.2km track around the football pitches at the college up here that are useful. The track around the pitch in Mary I was very useful for it when I lived around Limerick.

Good one
If you log in on the laptop you can look around for segments under Explore

Day 1 of the couch to 10k done.
Lad went out on his own and ran 10k.
Herself and the lass and I did 8x1min run / 2 min walk. She is delighted as her back held out without any pain.

Ta for the Google map of your house/estate there @flattythehurdler. I’ll be over with some high class art thieves as soon as the lockdown is over.
