The Road to Pasadena (and various other places) Concluding in January 2014

Auburn going all out here. Recovered onside kick after a great touchdown series. Mizzou were lucky their TD stood.

Fumble again by Marshall but recovers it this time. Good game tho

Amazing game so far, each team looks like they will score on every drive. Auburn RB Tre Mason running riot, nearly 200 yards and 2 TDs and we’re still over 6 minutes away from HT. 28-21 Auburn.

28 - 27 now after Mizzou score a 55 yard TD with 20 seconds left to half time. This is some game so far! Its probably not a game for the purists as the defence on both sides is pretty shit, but for attacking play and excitement, its fucking brilliant. I was even surprised they didnt go for 2 there to level it!

I thought they’d go for 2 as well. Crucial stop for the Mizzou before that, their D was starting to look tired and another Auburn TD there would have put them deep in the shit. Green-Beckham was the number 1 recruit in the entire nation coming out of high school a couple of years back and really looks the part. God knows whats going to happen in the second half:D

Brooks beat Lindsey in throwing the football into a hole after a tie break to win $100k. he threw the ball like a real fucking pussy too.

Baylor are leading Texas 20-3 with not long left in the 3rd.

290 yards and 4 TDs for Tre Mason, his dad Vincent was in De La Soul. 59-42 Auburn, crazy game. The Tigers will be praying Ohio State fuck up later and they get into the championship game.

Ah lovely

And they do! Looks like auburns name is destined to be on that crystal vase thing what with the hail Mary TD against Georgia, the fg return against bama and then Ohio fucking up. Some game from Mason last night tho.

Nick Saban has signed a multi-year extension at 'Bama getting him a reported $7.5 million per annum. Nice work if you can get it.

The University of Texas football team had revenues of $139m in 2013 :eek:

That is more than every Premier League team except Spurs, LFC, Chelsea, Arsenal, ManCity and ManUtd.

This is supposed to be a fucking school, not a sports franchise.
And that’s just the football team.
And people complain about the GGA taking advantage of amateur athletes.

didnt realise the GAA were giving free college scholarships to every player that plays its game, whilst giving them first class sports training. nor set up a platform for players to go on to a more lucrative career in sports.

You’re not familiar with DCU’s recent modus operandi?

I am. Does every GAA player go to DCU?

I wasn’t aware that was the question being asked.

Good last couple of minutes in the New Mexico Bowl. Washington State were coasting but turned the ball over with 2 minutes left after bizarrely snapping the ball with 20 seconds left on the play clock. They had fumbled on the previous play too but had it overturned on review.

Colorado State with first and goal now but need 8 points.

Statue of Liberty play to get the 2. Ruled short but should be overturned.

Cheers for the heads up. Was going to watch the USC V Fresno game but will catch the end of this. Fuck me, the Cougars have just fumbled the ball:eek:

Mayhem. Washington State fumble the kickoff return. They had this game in the bag and have fumbled it away.
