u’re hardly going to trot home at half seven nicely oiled after 4 points back to the damp bedsit with a bag of chips for a night of match of the day followed by a wank before bed into a football sock.
Im a weak person ( personified by my posting), and there is no way if i was in your socieconomic position id be able to retire after a few post game pints, you’ll surely go ride a prossie on the way back? she’ll be nice and clean and all before the busy saturday night at that hour

Yeah I bet he tells all the boys at home that he’s living the high life but that is the truth of his existence above. Bet he doesn’t tell them about crying himself to sleep every night pining for Clonlara and his mothers laundry baskets, while wearing two coats in bed to stave off the cold as there is no heating in the bedsit

At least she went out on a high with the win in Wexford. We’ll have another one hitting the track in late spring. If your liver hasn’t packed it in by then I’ll flag it to the clique.

great news !!! connections must be delighted the horse will live a nice long life and can now go visit her every weekend as they love her so much

Can all you boring cunts who are having a few here and there please fuck off. This thread is for people with strength of character and will, not you weak willed little weasels.

+1

Im clean since December 1st and no intention of caving in till March 1st.

Yours in clarity.

Oh how I wish I could sign in. In fairness I had a good run with that phone

Smashed it last night, drinking is cool and all you cunts know it.

All this self righteousness and abstinence is making you even tetchier than usual. Some of us have the maturity to find arbitrary target setting unnecessary and the associated smugness pathetic.

Not so thinly veiled ’ I wish I had your will power’ post from the curdler.

Still clean. Into the last seven days of my stretch now. This weekend was always going to be the acid test.

Where have all the posts gone? I called farmer an alci and I want it reinstated !

Off it since St Stephens night. Feeling very healthy.

Rake of stags and weddings coming up in the next couple of months though. :frowning:

The app seems to be ok but there are posts missing from the website

I signed out last night on day 32. I am now signing back in until Easter. I am beginning to detest alcohol, it’s poison.

My brother from another mother… I signed out last night too, bro. Nothing crazy, just a few over dinner.

8 weeks without a drop. Having a few on March 1st.

For people completely off it do you still go out and socialise - pub/restaurant or do you go to a match/cinema where no real need to drink.

Hard to do bar/restaurant without at least having a couple - at least for me. At home I can take or leave it.

Haven’t been out in pubs.

I could go to a restaurant no bother without drinking, a bar would be out of the question.
