Shit like that needs to be stamped out. Owners and trainers taking the punters for mugs.
Inglis Drever was put down today, an awful shameā¦great race horseā¦
First horse I put money on.
Old, injured or what?

had it backed twice when he won the world hurdle, for that I will always have a soft spot for himā¦think he got a bad dose of colic and had to be put down
Colic is a terror. I remember walking a stallion with colic belong to my neighbour while my brother bate the shit out of him every time he tried to go down. This went on for three hours before he was taken up to the Curragh. They operated on him but he had no twist in his gut so he was alright.
Thatās awful news about Inglis Drever.
Bad day for JB today, I had high hopes for Cuis Ghaire and Chabal. Thankfully I didnāt back either of them.
Vaguely remember Coolmore spending millions on a horse and flying it from New Zealand or somwhere. The horse got colic on the plane and they had to put it down in mid air. I suppose they had it insured though.
Willie Mullins is some trainier ladsā¦
Exibit A:
Thousand Stars, moved to the yard a month ago from Larry Byrnes, and put in a performance yesterday that was unbelivably good, horse has been turned inside out.
Exibit B:
Our Monty, andother new addition, trained on the flat by John Oxx, moved to Kevin OāBrien the and went over sticks, for 12 months before picking up a hanicap hurlde and a shite flat handicap. Moved to Gavin Cromwell and after a few point to points and a couple of poor efforts picked up two over jumps, but didnt look like muchā¦ Move to Willies year a month ago and first two outings bolts up unextended

Thousand Stars was backed from 4s to 7/4. Good gamble. Cooper looks like he has a good horse in Lucky William. Pissed the bumper with a penalty. Early in the year but could be Cheltenham bound.
Kauto Star has been entered for seasonal reapperance in Down Royal in a a few weeks along with Notre Pere, Taranis and War of Attrition. Makings of a good race.
Nice gamble is right, they had a nice punt on our monty as well.
Tom Mullins had a smashing bumper winner yesterday for JP, ran a bit free early on but settled and pissed home under Patrick Mullins. Won a few bob this weekend, and was going to go all in but baulked it, 8/11 was a great price after.

Agreed. Lucky William looked mighty impressive in sauntering home in his bumper. He was never required to exert much effort and seemed in 2nd gear for most of the race.

Add Barker to that list as well HB
He has one going on Thursday that cam down from Halford not so long ago, will be watching with interest.
Sure Willie Mullins is a brilliant trainer but hes landing the best horses from yards like Lar Byrnes,Colm Murphys,Morrisās etc at the start of every season,im sure the middling ones are going the other way at the same time.
Aidan OāBrien winning an award at the E&Y Entrepreneur of the year for 2009. Kinda ironic they give it to him in a year where his horses are bang out of form and John Oxx has pissed all over him. Not dissing him in any way as AOB is one of the best going but there was so many other years they could have given this to him.
Dunguib goes over hurdles tomorrow for the first time in Wexford. He should rout that field, itāll be interesting to see what sort of price heāll be.
Very interesting. Itāll be a short price anyway, Iād imagine
what time dunph?
I think itās the 2nd last race Puke, just before the bumper. I couldnāt be arsed checking but i would say around 5pm.
