Am I right in saying Barry Connell has him at the moment?
Some quick internet stalking has revealed that he is being offered for sale by Val OâConnell, whoâs son happens to be Mr Brian T OâConnell, jockey of Dunguib.
A well advised purchase for 1500 no doubt.
Shrewd alright.

Ah very good, I was told it was Barry Connell that your man who bought it last time round gave it to (to pay off a debt). Wires crossed somewhere.
Clonmel Oil Race Day
Thursday 12th November 2009
Local company, Clonmel Oil, are once again delighted to be involved in sponsoring the most prestigious horse race meeting of the year at Clonmel Racecourse on Thursday 12th November featuring the âŹ55,000 Grade 2 Clonmel Oil Chase. With a top class supporting card including the recently upgraded Grade 3 Mares race it has all the ingredients to whet the appetite of the most ardent National Hunt enthusiast.
Sean Connolly, Managing Director of Clonmel Oil says - âWe are delighted, in association with Topaz, to continue with the prestigious Clonmel Oil Chase. The race has produced an illustrious list of winners- Imperial Call, Doranâs Pride, Beef or Salmon, Edredon Bleu, War of Attrition - and we look forward to welcoming people and particularly our customers to Powerstown Park on Thursday November 12thâ.
Racecourse manager, D.J. Histon states: - âWe are delighted to have Clonmel Oil supporting one of the most prominent race days on the National Hunt calendar. We recognise the importance of sponsorship and the important function it plays in preserving the racing product and affording great opportunities to owners and trainersâ.
Marketing Manager, Eugene Cooney is upbeat about this yearâs event: - âClonmel Oil recognise the fiscal challenges facing all racegoers and this year a special promotion is on offer, whereby the public can avail of half price admission. To avail of this major discount all you have to do is spend âŹ20 on fuel at Clonmel Oil Service Station, Waterford Road, Clonmel or Prior Park Service Station Clonmelâ.
This yearâs event is particularly special as we expect to have at least one overseas raider, the Paul Nicholls trained âHerecomesthetruthâ running in the ownership of Harry Findlay of âDenmanâ fame. Success at Powerstown Park is something already experienced by Harry as he has previously won the Boylesports Coursing Derby there with Big Fella Thanks and the Hotel Minella Coursing Oaks with Mountain Guest. No doubt the Irish entries will be throwing down the gauntlet to our overseas visitors in what should be a very competitive race.
The first of seven races is scheduled for 12.55pm on Thursday 12th November.
Good old Harry.
Celestial Halo looked very impressive there despite carrying top weightâŚClass told in the endâŚCrack Away Jack was also very impressive albeit against two average horses earlier
Have a couple of lids on Spanish Moon in the next in Santa Anita.
A lot of the irish / english pundits tipping Rip Van Winkle. What do the experts on here think?

zenyatta will be hard beat in my opinion. sheâll be a big price on industry prices over here.
Quality Road really acting the cunt there. The stall handlers are fucking brutal. The horse should have been withdrawn much earlier.
Fierce who-haw at the start here. Quality Road is withdrawn after refusing to go into the stalls.
What a run from the mare.
unbelievable
Jesus Christ that was like the finale from Seabiscuit, what A horse gave them A 14L head start, incredible!
Pure class.
Send her to Sea The StarsâŚ
Id buy that for A dollar!
A match race against Rachel Alexandra would be awesome.
Some run from Zenyatta. She wasnât fancied at all over there. Everyone thought she wasnât good enough but all the cunts still backed her. Was disappointed with OâBriens runners. Every single one of them was last out of the stalls on every start. He left better horses at home which makes me half think he was there for Coolmore marketing purposes. The Yanks know how to put on a show though. Santa Anita is some spot.
